MSAA Organizes Special Academic Interaction with Col. (Retd.) Mohd Sahid Khan at AMU

The Manipur Students’ Association Aligarh (MSAA) successfully organized a Special Academic Interaction Program today with Colonel (Retd.) Mohd Sahid Khan, a distinguished alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The event was held at the Kennedy Auditorium Lawn, AMU.

The program provided a vibrant platform to deliberate on the social, economic, and political challenges faced by the Pangal (Manipuri Muslim) community. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions, highlighting both the root causes of the community’s backwardness and possible pathways for progress.

One of the key resolutions emerging from the interaction was the urgent need to establish an academic think tank dedicated to the Pangals, conduct a comprehensive socio-economic survey of the community, and ensure adequate political representation. These steps, participants noted, are crucial for informed scholarship, effective policy advocacy, and constructive interventions.

MSAA expressed its deep gratitude to Colonel (Retd.) Mohd Sahid Khan for facilitating this open and insightful dialogue on the pressing issues confronting the community. The association also thanked all participants for their active presence and thoughtful contributions, which played a pivotal role in making the program a success.
