Conrad K. Sangma Visits Kangpokpi with MLAs Sheikh Noorul Hassan and Janghemlung Panmei, Calls for Rebuilding Trust Among Communities
Meghalaya Chief Minister and National People’s Party (NPP) National President Conrad K. Sangma visited Kangpokpi on Thursday, accompanied by Kshetrigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan and Tamenglong MLA Janghemlung Panmei.

During the visit, Sangma held interactions with various civil society groups, local organizations, and community leaders to hear their concerns and understand the immense suffering faced by the people amid the ongoing unrest in Manipur.
He emphasized the importance of dialogue and unity in restoring peace, saying, “It has been our sincerest endeavor to appeal and work together with different stakeholders to rebuild trust and faith among communities. Our communities have suffered for too long, and we need to move forward in peace.”
The visit is part of NPP’s broader outreach effort to promote reconciliation and confidence-building among diverse communities in Manipur.
