Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Observed at DC Conference Hall, Chandel

The District Administration, Chandel today observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at the DC Conference Hall, joining the rest of the nation in commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India and a key architect of national integration.

The programme was graced by Md. Firoj, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chandel, as the chief guest. Officials and staff from various district departments participated in the observance, reaffirming their pledge to uphold unity and integrity.

In his address, ADC Md. Firoj highlighted Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s pivotal role in uniting over 500 princely states into the Indian Union, describing his leadership as a cornerstone in building a strong and cohesive nation. He urged everyone to emulate Patel’s vision by promoting unity, integrity, and good governance.

The event concluded with the administration of the Rashtriya Ekta Pledge, reaffirming the collective commitment to preserve the nation’s unity and security.
