Three-Day Training on Mushroom Cultivation and Vermicompost Production Concludes Successfully
A three-day training programme on Mushroom Cultivation and Vermicompost Production concluded successfully at the office of RAMA Foundation, Nagamapal RIMS Road. The programme was jointly organized by RAMA Foundation in collaboration with ECHEL Club from November 8 to 10, 2025.
The training aimed to promote income generation, self-employment, and leadership skills among participants. It included practical sessions on cultivating paddy straw and oyster mushrooms, and preparing vermicompost from spent mushroom substrate to promote eco-friendly and sustainable farming practices.
The inaugural function was attended by Ph. Anand, President of ECHEL Club; S. Rajendra Kumar, Managing Director of RAMA Foundation; Mrs. Jamuna Devi, Programme Coordinator, RAMA Foundation; and S. Rakhesh, Publicity Secretary of ECHEL Club.

During the training, ready-to-grow mushroom samples were distributed to participants, and certificates of completion were also awarded. A Self-Help Group (SHG) was formed to encourage collective entrepreneurship and collaboration among the trainees.



The organizers extended gratitude to all participants, trainers, and supporters for making the programme a success.
