36 Acres of Poppy Wiped Out in C. Lamjang Hill Ranges by Security Forces, Forest Department
A joint team of Security Forces and the Forest Department on Monday destroyed 36 acres of poppy cultivation in the hill ranges of C. Lamjang and nearby areas under Kangpokpi Police Station in Kangpokpi district.

The team also demolished 11 huts used for the illegal plantation and destroyed 14 bags of fertilizers and nine bags of salt recovered from the sites.
Officials said the operation was part of an ongoing crackdown on illicit poppy farming in the district and similar drives will continue.
