Acting on a reliable input received around 9:00 AM from 33 Assam Rifles about the presence of suspected UG elements in the area, the joint operation was launched under the leadership of Subedar L. During on-the-spot interrogation, the detainee allegedly confessed to being an active cadre of KCP (PWG), having joined the group in June 2024 through one Thamujam Tolenjao alias Ingocha Singh (45), the self-styled Home Secretary of the group.
