Manipur Police Arrest Man in Jiribam with 56.8 kg of Contraband Ganja

Manipur Police arrested a man and seized approximately 56.8 kilograms of contraband ganja during an operation in Jiribam district.

According to police, Konjengbam Kulla Singh (47), a resident of Lakhipur Chingkha Ward No. 9, Jiribam District, was apprehended on July 17, 2026, from the Lamkhai Bazar area of Jiribam town.

During the operation, police recovered around 56.8 kg of suspected contraband ganja from his possession. The accused has been taken into custody, and further legal proceedings are underway.
