Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebrated Across Pherzawl District

The District Administration, Pherzawl, today observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) with a series of programmes held across police stations in the district.

At the District Police Headquarters, SP Pherzawl Shri T. Lalboi Haokip led the official observance and administered the Unity Pledge to police officers and personnel, reaffirming their commitment to national integration and paying tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vital role in uniting India.

As part of the celebration, Unity Runs were also organised at Thanlon and Parbung police stations. Around 70 participants took part in the Thanlon event, where Village Chief Th. Dongchinpau presented prizes to the winners. In Parbung, about 40 runners joined the Unity Run, and winners were honoured at the venue.

The district-wide celebration highlighted the spirit of unity and collective resolve to uphold Sardar Patel’s vision of a strong and integrated nation.
