FREE HEALTH CAMP ORGANISED AT KWAKETHEL AKHAM LEIKAI UNDER SAGOLBAND MLA’S INITIATIVE
The Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC), in association with the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Sagolband, organised a free health camp at Kwakeithel Akham Leikai, Nganu Lampak, under the supervision and guidance of Sagolband MLA Shri R.K. Imo Singh.

The camp formed part of an ongoing series of Special Outreach Health Camps launched across Sagolband since 2022 to strengthen community health services and bring essential healthcare to residents’ doorsteps.
A wide range of services was provided during the camp, including general OPD consultation, eye OPD, immunisation, antenatal check-up, free laboratory tests, distribution of medicines, cervical, oral and breast cancer screening, hypertension and diabetes screening, AYUSH OPD services and ABHA ID creation.
Residents from Kwakeithel Akham Leikai and nearby localities actively participated, reflecting increasing trust in community-focused initiatives undertaken in the constituency.

Speaking at the event, MLA R.K. Imo Singh reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring accessible and reliable healthcare for all, especially vulnerable groups.
The SCPC announced that six more such health camps will be conducted across various areas of Sagolband before March 2026. The committee stated that expanding healthcare outreach is a crucial step toward strengthening grassroots health services and ensuring that no locality is left behind.
The SCPC also expressed gratitude to the UPHC Sagolband medical team, local volunteers and community leaders for their support in making the programme a success.
