Maharaja Sanajaoba Leishemba Indisposed Due to Dengue Fever; Public Engagements Suspended for Two Weeks

Maharaja Sanajaoba Leishemba, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Manipur, has been diagnosed with dengue fever and will be unable to attend social commitments, official meetings, or public functions for about a fortnight.

According to an official communiqué issued by his office, the MP has been advised to rest starting from October 9, 2025. His Personal Assistant, Maisnam Shivadutta Singh, stated that all well-wishers, civil society organisations, and government departments are requested to understand his inability to accept invitations or participate in scheduled events during this period.

The statement further mentioned that Maharaja Sanajaoba Leishemba will resume his public duties and social engagements as soon as his health permits. His office expressed sincere regret for any inconvenience caused.
